Terms & Conditions

Booking an appointment with me assumes your agreement to these terms and conditions. These are available freely on my website, and a link is provided to them in every single booking email you receive from me.

 

I only take bookings from women. My services are specifically aligned to women, therefore I will no longer accept any new male clients onto my books.  Existing male clients can continue to book as usual. Unknown male clients making bookings online will be cancelled automatically. 

 

Booking an appointment

Please use the online booking facility to search for your own appointment, and to book at a time convenient to you. I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have prior to booking so feel free to contact me! However, I am no longer booking appointments in by text message conversations back and forth (unless your required service is not showing up on the booking portal)

 

Appointment Confirmation Email

I use an automated booking portal to manage all my clients' appointments, payments, and consultation forms. Please make sure you put the correct email address into your account, as you will receive a confirmation email, within one hour of booking. I will not contact you directly, unless there is a problem with your booking. Please note there is a possibility that I may request to shuffle your appointment time a little in order to maximise the number of clients I can treat. When you receive the confirmation email, there will be a link to fill in a consultation form ahead of your session.

Illness & Sickness Policy

Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling ill.  Massage can make you feel much worse.  I do all I can to avoid getting ill; being self employed, if I have to cancel a weeks worth of clients because I am ill, then I don't get paid, and my clients don't get the continuation of treatment they deserve.  Please keep your germs to yourself.

Messaging me on the morning, asking me to make the decision for you does not remove the need for you to pay the late cancellation fee (see below).  Please make payment as soon as you can, so that we can get you rebooked in when you're feeling better.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancelling or moving your appointment less than 24 hours beforehand will result in 50% of the total cost of the appointment being payable.

Not showing up for your appointment, or cancelling on the same day will result in 100% of the total cost of the appointment being payable.

The cost of the service you choose pays for the time you have reserved, irrespective of whether or not you receive that service. Reserving that time means it is not available to anyone else. My time cannot be replaced, and late cancellations impact my business. Fees are payable in ALL instances, and under all circumstances.  I can either send you a link to make payment securely online, or you can make payment via BACS/Bank Transfer. Until this payment is made you will be blocked from making any further bookings with me.

Please note that if I have to cancel your booking at short notice, then there will be no charges applied.

 

Repeated Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please note that clients who repeatedly book appointments only to cancel them just outside of the 24 hour cut off (meaning no fees are incurred, but still negatively impacting the appointments I am able to offer to other clients) will eventually have restrictions put in place. This may mean only being able to book on the day or needing to pay the full amount up front to secure further appointments. In some cases, it may result in a complete ban on making further bookings.

 

Late arrivals

Arriving late to your appointment may impact the time you have on the couch with me.  Please note that the full cost of the original treatment booked will be payable, no reductions or amendments to your bill will be made in the event of having to adapt your treatment due to lateness.

 

If it is not possible to complete any of your treatment in the time left the full bill will still be payable.

 

Please note that on the rare occasion I am running behind I will do my best to let you know via text or phone call ahead of your appointment time. You will still get your full treatment time with me.

 

Refunds

Refunds for services or gift vouchers are not offered under any circumstances.

You are paying for my time, which cannot be returned to me, nor can the products I have used to perform your treatments. Gift Vouchers can be passed on to someone else to use, should they not be suitable for the intended recipient.

Refunds for products purchased in the cabin are available only if the item is unused, in it's original packaging, and returned within 30 days of original purchase. 

 

Consultation Forms & Medical Conditions

Prior to your appointment you will receive a link to a consultation form via email. It is your responsibility to fill this in, for me to tailor your treatment, and so that you can inform me of any medical issues relevant to the treatment. I may adapt your treatment accordingly or offer an alternative treatment if the one you’ve booked in for is not suitable for you. (See also Therapist’s Right of Refusal below).  If this is not filled in ahead of your session, we will need to do it during your appointment, which may shorten the length of time available for hands on treatment.

I am not responsible for any adverse effects after treatment caused by failure to disclose any known or underlying health conditions, or medications being taken. I am not a medical professional, and I will not be able to advise you on anything medically related.

Please note that I am not a medical doctor, and while I have an extensive understanding of the musculoskeletal system, I am unable to diagnose. I am also unable to guarantee any outcomes from our appointments together.  While the techniques I utilise do work for most of the people, most of the time, underlying conditions, especially those requiring medical intervention can never be ruled out.

The services I offer are never a substitute for medical intervention. Massage and holistic therapies are not a substitute for medical care, and no guarantees of outcome are ever provided.

Recommend A Friend Scheme

If you have agreed to receive texts from me, you may receive a recommend a friend text; this entitles you and a friend each to £10 off any full priced service. Forward the text to your friend, and when they make a booking they need to quote the offer code AND your name. Once they've received their treatment, you will then be sent another text, letting you know that your £10 is ready to be redeemed. It cannot be applied retrospectively.

 

Therapist’s Right of Refusal

I aim to give an excellent and unrivalled service to all who choose me to be their therapist. However, it is my right as a therapist to refuse to treat you, just as you have the right to change to any other therapist you choose. There may be numerous reasons for this, including (But not limited to); Repeated lateness or cancellations, inappropriate behaviour or misconduct, refusal to fill in consultation forms, refusal or inability to pay, and medical unsuitability for treatment. However, disrespect to me, my business and my terms of operation will result in outright refusal of treatment and blocking from the online booking facility with immediate effect.

 

Sexual Misconduct

I operate a professional massage and holistic therapy business. Services of a sexual nature are never offered, or implied. Requesting these services, either over the phone, via text message, email, or in person will result in your details being handed over the police immediately. Other local therapists may also be made aware. You will be banned from booking in with me.

Membership & Subscription Terms & Conditions

​

These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients enrolled in a membership oe subscription. By purchasing a membership, you agree to the terms outlined below.

​

1. Membership Overview

Membership provides one treatment per calendar month at the selected level:

​

  • Restore & Maintain – one 45-minute treatment per month

  • Protect Your Peace – one 90-minute treatment per month

 

Membership also includes:

  • 10% discount on additional full-priced treatments and retail products

  • Priority booking access up to 6 months in advance. Appointments are subject to availability.

 

Membership benefits apply only while the membership is active and payments are up to date.

2. Membership Availability

Membership places are limited.

  • An initial release of 10 memberships is available.

  • Additional memberships may be released in future at the discretion of the business.

 

3. Membership Term & Payments

  • Memberships operate on a minimum 12-month commitment.

  • Payments are collected via automatic recurring card payment on the 1st of each month.

  • Membership begins on the date of the first successful payment.

 

If a payment fails:

  • Membership benefits will be suspended from 24 hours after the failed payment until payment is received

  • Future bookings will be deleted and will need to be rebooked when the account is brought up to date

 

4. Monthly Treatment Allowance

Each membership includes one treatment per calendar month.

  • Treatments must be used within the month they are allocated.

  • Unused treatments expire at the end of that month and do not roll over.

 

Exception:

  • If a session is cancelled by Angela Moulding Bodywork due to therapist illness or unavoidable circumstances, the session will be rolled over into the following month only.

 

Membership payments secure access to treatment time but do not guarantee a specific appointment unless booked.

 

5. Booking Appointments

  • Appointments are subject to availability.

  • Members may book up to 6 months in advance.

  • Non-members may book up to 3 months in advance.

 

Members are responsible for booking their appointments in advance to secure preferred times. It is highly recommended to utilise either the online booking system, or to book sessions in person when you visit for treatments.  Texting back and forth is the least effective method of booking in, as time slots can get booked up while you are awaiting a reply. 

 

6. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Membership appointments are subject to the standard cancellation policy.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in 50% of the treatment cost being payable.

  • Cancelling on the same day or failing to attend will result in the membership treatment being forfeited.

  • The session cannot be reissued or moved to another month.

 

7. Non-Transferable Membership

  • Membership treatments and benefits are strictly for the named member only.

  • They cannot be transferred, shared, or gifted to another person.

 

8. Additional Treatments & Discounts

  • Members receive 10% off additional full-priced treatments and retail products.

  • This discount cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated.

All membership benefits, including discounts and priority booking, end immediately upon cancellation taking effect.

 

9. Cancellation of Membership

 

During Initial Term

Memberships cannot be cancelled during the 12-month minimum term, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness or relocation), which will be considered on a case by case basis.

 

After Initial Term

After 12 months, membership continues on a rolling basis and may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.

 

10. Cancellation by the Business

Angela Moulding Bodywork reserves the right to cancel a membership immediately and without notice where:

  • Payments remain outstanding

  • There is repeated breach of cancellation or booking policies

  • Behaviour towards the therapist is inappropriate

11. Relationship to General Booking Terms

All membership appointments remain subject to the full Booking Terms & Conditions, including (but not limited to):

  • Illness & sickness policy

  • Late arrival policy

  • Refund policy

  • Therapist’s right of refusal

Membership does not override these terms.

 

12. Treatment Suitability & Liability

All treatments are subject to professional assessment.

Angela Moulding Bodywork reserves the right to refuse or modify treatment where it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

Massage and holistic therapies are not a substitute for medical care, and no guarantees of outcome are provided.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are designed to comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
