Stepping into something bigger...

My Advanced Clinical Massage Qualification with Jing

Every now and then, you come across training that doesn’t just add to your skillset — it shifts how you see your work entirely. For me, that’s what the Advanced Clinical Massage qualification with Jing has done.

This wasn't your standard “learn a few new techniques” kind of course. Jing’s approach goes much deeper. It’s rooted in the belief that massage isn’t just about soothing sore muscles — it’s about understanding the body as a whole, the mind that lives inside it, and the life that shapes it.

The Jing Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist (ACMT) qualification combines the best of East and West — blending anatomy and physiology with techniques like myofascial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure, and advanced soft tissue work. The focus is on real results for chronic pain, old injuries, and those deep, nagging aches that just won’t go away with a standard massage.

What really makes Jing stand out, though, is their biopsychosocial approach to pain — recognising that pain isn’t only physical. It is tied up with stress, emotion, and the way we move day-to-day. This way of working invites therapists to look at the full picture, treating each client as a unique story rather than a set of symptoms.

The course is also beautifully practical. We learn hands-on, study the latest pain science, and we're encouraged to bring our intuition and humanity into the room with us. It’s rigorous, yes, but it’s also deeply human, and we make huge shifts in our understanding and ability to treat — and that’s where the magic happens.

Graduating as an ACMT with Jing didn't just give me another certificate on the wall. It gave me a renewed sense of purpose — and the confidence to work with people who need more than a one-size-fits-all approach.

For me, this qualification has expanded not only what I can offer but how I see the people I work with. It’s been a reminder that the body always has more to say — we just need to learn how to listen properly.

If you’re curious to experience this way of working — where every session is tailored to your body, your story, and how you actually feel — I’d love to welcome you. You can book a treatment or simply get in touch to chat about what’s been going on for you. Sometimes, the smallest step towards feeling better starts with a text message...
